Neverness to Everness (NTE), the highly anticipated supernatural urban open-world RPG, made its official debut at the Tokyo Game Show 2024 and is currently accepting registrations for a closed test. But what did we learn from the game slated as the Anime version of GTA?
Setting and Premise:
NTE is set in the city of Hethereau, a place teeming with anomalies and mysteries. As the first “unlicensed” Anomaly Hunter, you’ll explore this vibrant urban landscape.
- You join the antique shop Eibon, which takes on Anomaly commissions from the public. Alongside your extraordinary partners, you’ll unravel urban secrets, experience adventures, and craft your unique saga.

Gameplay Highlights:
- Esper Abilities: You’ll make a dazzling entrance using your extraordinary Esper abilities, allowing you to navigate freely and handle unexpected events.
- Lifestyle Choices: Beyond battling anomalies, you can choose your own lifestyle, manage businesses, drive & race vehicles and immerse yourself in the vibrant urban life of Hethereau.

Tokyo Game Show 2024 Reveals:
- During the event, NTE developers showcased a playable demo in Exhibition Hall 8. Players got a taste of the game’s mechanics and features.
- While they didn’t reveal the exact release date, fans are eagerly awaiting further announcements. Speculation suggests that NTE might see the light of day sometime in Q3 2025.
